Kobayashi Kokei's residence (1934, designed by Yoshida Gojuhachi) in Ota-ku, Tokyo was dismantled in 2001, and Joetsu City, Niigata Prefecture, the birthplace of Kobayashi Kokei, purchased the dismantled parts and relocated them to Takada Joshi Park.
