This project is an extension of a children's school located in a residential area at the foot of a mountain. A dining room and a nursery room are planned in a large space with a ceiling height of 6,350 mm, lined with tapered cross columns at intervals of 3.5 meters. The client's concept of "a new dining hall that creates an expanse that is not a room" was realized in this facility where the line of sight penetrates to the outside and the space that cannot be seen to the back is intermingled.
