This is a redevelopment project consisting of the JR Yokohama Tower and the JR Yokohama Tsuruya-cho Building, which was promoted in response to the deterioration of the Yokohama Station West Exit Station Building. In addition to connecting to the existing station, the project was required to create a pedestrian network that would contribute to the revitalization of the area as a leading project of "Excite Yokohama 22 (Yokohama Station Area Remodeling Project)" formulated by Yokohama City.
