This research facility was established in 1981 to conduct research and development on materials testing, structure and construction, etc. The facility has been redeveloped since 2016, and the Environmental Technology Demonstration Building was completed in 2017, followed by the Structure and Construction Experiment Building and the Acoustics Experiment Building (expansion) in 2019. In addition to upgrading and expanding research and development functions, this facility will be used to demonstrate the technologies to be adopted in the reconstruction of the head office.
