Outline
This project is a conversion of a 100-year-old wooden row house in Kamezaki, Handa City, funded by a grant for accelerated regional development from the Cabinet Office in fiscal 2016. Wooden cores were inserted to reinforce the building against earthquakes while retaining the distorted existing frame.
