During the 20-year restoration work of Kumamoto Castle, which was damaged by the Kumamoto Earthquake in April 2016, a special viewing corridor was set up to show the restoration process. The design was required to meet the strict design conditions of the special historic site and to harmonize with the scenery of Kumamoto Castle.
