This bar is operated by the HOPPY General Foundation, which was established by Hoppy Beverage, a company that produces and sells Hoppy (a malt liquor-like soft drink). A vacant private house was renovated. The existing structure, including the extension stones, was used almost as is. Newly installed HP shell roof eaves and supporting beams, the edges of which are supported by 2-meter-high Inujima stones. The furniture was designed by Kazuyo Sejima & Associates.
