Outline
Three buildings with different characteristics, the accommodation building, the main building, and the detached building, are connected by a corridor. The building is built on stilts to prevent the humidity peculiar to Karuizawa. The roof of the main building consists of 80 mm square laminated pine rafters and eaves girders turned 90 degrees to form a mesh-like structure. The entire roof surface is made up of girders. The joints are drift pin joints.
