A new research and development base for Shiseido in the Minato Mirai 21 district. Considering the research function, the relationship with the city, and the environmental characteristics depending on the orientation, a floor plate of approximately 60m square was planned with each zone having its own characteristics. By wrapping all four sides with glass and integrating the architecture, structure, and facilities to solve the client's needs, we aimed to realize a new form of urban open laboratory.
