Aichi Technical High School and Higashiyama Technical High School were merged into the newly established Comprehensive Technical High School. The five main courses (mechanical, electrical, construction, chemical, and design) and two major courses (mechanical and electrical) for high school graduates, which had been divided into different buildings, were integrated into one building.
