This is the first new limited express train built by Seibu Railway in 25 years, operating on the Seibu Ikebukuro and Chichibu lines (Ikebukuro Station to Seibu Chichibu Station). It is an eight-car train, one car more than the previous limited express train, with more capacity and better toilet, washroom and barrier-free facilities. The aluminum structure is finished with a special metal coating that reflects the scenery.
