Outline
The building is an exchange facility for local residents in Naraha-machi, Fukushima Prefecture, which was placed under evacuation orders as a result of the Great East Japan Earthquake in 2011, and the orders were lifted in September 2015. 21 x 21 m, 6.1 m high, the one-room space has a vaulted ceiling and a large roof made of small beams stacked in a grid pattern. It is expected to serve as a center of exchange for the residents of this area.
