AZUSA SEKKEI
Outline
The city hall consists of two buildings: a three-story wooden east wing and a four-story steel-framed and steel-reinforced concrete main building (administrative building). The east wing was constructed without using any special construction methods or metal fittings in order to build a wooden building using local resources, human resources, and industries, and the façade of the building features "KB-WALL," a load-bearing wall made of pure wood with three-tiered bracing.
