Japan's first public housing for reconstruction using CLT panel construction method. A project team (Fukushima CLT Wooden Construction Study Group "Kiami") consisting of two design firms, four construction companies, Shibaura Institute of Technology, and a structural designer skilled in CLT panel construction was formed. The project is being carried out in cooperation between industry, academia, and government, and CLT technology is being shared with the government. This project is expected to be a leading project for the future development of CLT production bases in the Aizu region.
