ATELIER ZO
Outline
The infant and toddler sections, which were located in the town center, were integrated and relocated to this wooden school building. It is located in a rich environment with a view of the Kanayama countryside and Mount Tsuki to the southwest. Local 200-year-old Kanayama cedar trees were cut and used for the 720mm beams and 500mm diameter log posts. The forest union, town carpenters, and townspeople worked together to create the building.
