A 50-year-old private kindergarten attached to the Moriguchi campus of Osaka International University was rebuilt as an accredited children's school in response to the issues of aging, seismic performance, lack of nursery rooms, and strengthening of cooperation with the university. Osaka International University and the Junior College have a Department of Early Childhood Care and Education, which operates an educational curriculum in cooperation with the children's school, including educational training for students.
