ATELIER SHICHIGATSU+ATELIER SITE
Outline
This cafeteria building was planned to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the University Seminar House, which was established in 1965. The building is constructed of standard lumber from the Tama region using conventional wood-frame construction techniques used for housing. A 4×4 space is used as a structural unit, and structural walls are arranged around it in a balanced manner to create a single-room space with a minimum of internal walls.
