Higashichichibu Village, Chichibu County, Saitama Prefecture - In order to create a hub for the only public transportation in Higashichichibu Village, the cultural facility "Higashichichibu Village Washi no Sato" has been renovated, and a new bus terminal and agricultural products shop has been built. In addition, some of the existing buildings have been expanded and reconstructed to create a roadside station that aims to attract more people from inside and outside the village. Both the produce shop and the bus terminal were designed using 120mm square solid cypress wood and Hosokawa paper from Higashichichibu village.
