Outline
The station building for the sea station is located on the island of Yumike in the Seto Inland Sea, and was planned as an exchange base connecting the old houses and public facilities in the town with the sea through the activities of a workshop that has been held since 2009 to explore the ideal form of tourism utilizing local resources through surveys of the port, the actual living conditions, and existing buildings. A slope with a slope of 1/12 surrounds the building, and the roof is shaped like a HP shell because the beams are hung over the slope to accommodate the change in height.
