Two wooden row houses in a residential area in the suburbs of Tokyo. Each house has its own garden, and an open-plan earthen floor space faces the garden. Each space has three roofs of different heights. The exterior of the house is designed to be continuous with the garden of the client's parents' house, which is adjacent to the house.
