Outline
As part of an urban development project involving cooperation between the public, private, and academic sectors in the area surrounding Kashiwanoha Campus Station in Kashiwa City, Chiba Prefecture, this project involves the construction of a regulating pond located in the center of the Kashiwanoha Innovation Campus, which is being developed to attract functions other than businesses and residences to the area between the station and Route 16. The pond, which was previously inaccessible to the public, will be opened to the public as a public waterfront space at the center of the new district. Adjacent to the north side of the site is Kashiwanoha T-SITE, whose concept is to propose a lifestyle for the child-rearing generation.
