In commemoration of the 100th anniversary of its founding, Tokyo Denki University opened a campus (Buildings 1-4) in front of the east exit of Kitasenju Station in 2012 (Journal 1207), and Building 5 is the second phase of the project. The concept of the first phase, with its public space agora, second-floor continuity, and white exterior, has been retained and developed.
