Outline
This reinforced concrete public toilet is located in the parking lot of Kusakabe Port in the southern part of Shodoshima. It was built as part of the Setouchi International Art Festival Art Toilet Project, and granite from Shodoshima was used as the coarse aggregate in the concrete. The 5.8m high curved roof and walls are knocked down to create a continuous connection between the ground and the building.
