This art pavilion was newly built as part of the "Zen and Garden Museum" at Shinshoji Temple in Fukuyama City, Hiroshima Prefecture. The exterior is entirely covered with sawara wood, a delicate material that blends harmoniously with its surroundings. Inside the building, which is based on the motif of a boat, is an installation by Nawa Kohei.
