YKK AP, which has a manufacturing base in Kurobe City, established a new R&D center in the Kurobe Hagio Manufacturing Plant. The center consolidates the functions of research, development, verification, and testing, which have been dispersed in various locations, into a single location. About 370 engineers and researchers will work there, and professional users from Japan and abroad will be invited to conduct development and research to strengthen product development capabilities.
