This project involves the construction of a new "Yuji Hiroba" plaza and a new "Gozanoyu" day spa facility adjacent to the hot spring fields of Kusatsu Onsen, as well as the reconstruction of the "Atsunoyu" spa facility, which is not earthquake resistant enough. By relocating the parking lot and creating a place for people to gather, the area around the yubatake, which is the center of Kusatsu Onsen, will be revitalized into an area where pedestrians take center stage.
