A three-storied steel-framed fire station in Tsuchiura City, Ibaraki Prefecture. The living area and the emergency vehicle parking area are partitioned by fire-resistant glass, and the space is integrated and made visible to facilitate cooperation among personnel and grasp of the situation. In addition, the exhibition and experience functions are enriched, and a tour route is set up to enable visitors to see the entire facility including the rooftop, backyard, and training, in order to raise awareness of disaster prevention.
