NAOKO MATSUMOTO ARCHITECTS
Outline
As the first step in the renewal of the school's facilities in accordance with the reform of the school curriculum, we rebuilt the aging playroom and extended the nursery for two-year-olds. The playroom is open to the school yard, and the climbing beams create a linearly symmetrical house-shaped space with a maximum ceiling height of 5 m. This space is designed for the children to actively participate in daily exercises and physical activities.
