This is a new housing complex built in a residential area of Kyoto. Surrounded by a common courtyard, the dwelling units are maisonettes with continuous gabled roofs in keeping with the scale of the detached houses in the neighborhood. The piloti facing the courtyard is used as a private space for each dwelling.
