Outline
The building is located in the park of the historic site of the Jomon period village. The photo shows the entrance hall. The roof is a three-dimensional wooden truss structure made of 30 mm thick structural plywood on a reinforced concrete structure. The roof consists of a combination of hexagonal pyramidal units based on the motif of Jomon earthenware, and there are other rooms such as a multipurpose hall with a wooden lattice roof made of laminated wood.
