Outline
Reconstruction of the library of a women's university in Fukuoka City. Within a large space with a ceiling height of approximately 10 meters, various heights were created in the form of stairs, from a lively place for free conversation to a quiet place for concentration. The ceiling is covered with louvers made of Japanese cedar, and high side lights provide natural lighting and ventilation. At the intersection of the library, the research building, the lecture building, and the Sports Cube and Community Collaboration Center buildings will be connected.
