A staircase-shaped nursery is planned to take advantage of the 5m slope that gently descends to the south. By placing all the day-care rooms on the first floor, the quasi-fireproof interior design restriction is avoided, and the interior is finished in wood. The structure of the building is made of conventional axial wood. Although the nursery rooms are divided by pillars, braces, and level differences, they form a unified space without walls. Two openings, one at the bottom and the other at the top of the building, provide natural ventilation by gravity using the difference in elevation.
