Outline
This 96-meter-long, 6-meter-wide, steel-framed, cantilever-frame pedestrian bridge spans the valley between the café and restaurant "Kamitsubaki" and its parking lot in the precincts of Konpira Shrine. The column span is 64m, and the maximum height from the bottom of the valley to the bridge is 20m. The members were welded together as much as possible, and the same density was used for the main structural members and the handrail.
