As part of UR's community medical and welfare base project, 30 units in the Takashimadaira housing complex were renovated into serviced senior citizen housing. Community Net was commissioned to manage the project. In addition to barrier-free renovations, a semi-public space was created by adding an earthen floor between the common corridor and the rooms to accommodate the use of wheelchairs.
