Outline
This is an integrated plan for a junior high school (rebuilt) and a cultural center (newly built) across from an existing commercial facility. Because the building is located on a site prone to flooding, the entire building is elevated to serve as an emergency evacuation route, and the "Sotoniwa" water reservoir is located in the center of the junior high school. The entire building is composed of 64 Y-shaped steel frames of various sizes. These roofs and pillars collect rainwater and form a rain garden through the water channels and basins of Sotoniwa.
