Outline
The redevelopment project in front of Tokyo Station Yaesu Exit. The station facilities consist of a pedestrian deck, railway operating facilities, shops, etc., connecting the GrantTokyo South Tower (left) (this magazine 0803), which is already in operation, and the GrantTokyo North Tower (Phase I) (right) (same magazine 0803). The 240-meter-long deck is covered by a large roof with a membrane structure. The roof is a three-dimensional curved surface with different widths, inclinations, and tip heights. The membrane is a framework structure suspended from the underside of supporting beams that appear as a single piece.
