This facility, located in Shimonoseki City, Yamaguchi Prefecture, commemorates the 60th anniversary of the founding of Chofu Manufacturing. It houses an exhibition room that traces the history of the company, a tea ceremony room and a coffee shop that can be used by citizens. The building was constructed using lumber from the neighborhood and local craftsmen. The structure of the multipurpose hall, which extends over a large span, is made up of complex parts that are assembled three-dimensionally using a computer-operated 3D pre-cutting machine from Hundegger.
