This is a newly built facility in "Uonuma no Sato," which is planned and operated by Hakkai Jozo, which produces and sells the famous sake Hakkaisan. The facility is located in a heavy snowfall area where snow accumulates to 3 meters. Sake is matured in the snow in a "snow room" where snow is stored.
