This facility is located on the grounds of Seisei Kindergarten in Minami-ku, Fukuoka City, and is used by children attending the kindergarten and local children. This is the first project of DesignBuildFUKUOKA, a hands-on educational program from design to construction for students of architecture and working adults under 29 years old. The walls are made of scraps of discarded wooden poles collected from a pre-cut factory, and piled up with 105-mm and 120-mm square lumber with screws driven diagonally to secure the top, bottom, left and right sides.
