The hospital is one of the most advanced cancer hospitals in Japan. The hospital street on the first floor, which connects the high-rise and low-rise buildings, has been designed to create a place of peace and tranquility in harmony with the surrounding nature. The streetscape, which does not look like a hospital, is lined with a variety of shops, volunteer activity centers, and event spaces, creating a treatment environment that brings comfort and healing. The building is connected to a smart energy network with four surrounding facilities to reduce CO2 emissions and energy consumption in the area as a whole.
