Outline
Extension of Tokyo International Airport (Honjo 1011). The check-in lobby was extended by two spans, and a satellite with departure and arrival concourses was built on the north side of the check-in lobby. The number of fixed spots will be increased by 8, and the annual number of departures and arrivals will be increased from 60,000 to 90,000 (270,000 at Narita International Airport and 160,000 at Kansai International Airport), and the annual number of passengers will be increased from 7 million to 12.5 million. The aim is to strengthen the airport's role as an international hub for Asia with 24-hour access.
