TOHATA ARCHITECTS & ENGINEERS AND RUI SEKKEISHITSU
Outline
The reconstruction accompanied the relocation of the Faculty of Arts and Letters to the Imadegawa Campus. The relocation of Doshisha Junior High School and the abolition of the Industrial (Place) Restriction Law, which had restricted new construction and expansion of universities in urban areas, made this possible. In addition to the Ryoshin-kan, other facilities were renovated and landscape design was carried out to unify the landscape of the campus, which is dotted with important cultural properties.
