A nursery school in Shichigahama-cho, Miyagi Prefecture. In November 2011, after the Great East Japan Earthquake, a proposal was submitted to a panel of judges that included Inui Kumiko and Fukuya Sachiko, and it was built through a series of workshops with local residents, the town office, and the people at the nursery. The nursery, hall, and cooking room are arranged in a "R" shaped plan facing the courtyard.
