When the Department of Creative Informatics, where students study information technology and other information science and engineering, moved from the Akihabara Station Building to the Hongo Campus, the entire seven-story building was renovated. Since various research activities, such as software learning and virtual machine creation, are conducted in the building, the wiring, finishes, and plans for the equipment necessary for research were changed on each floor to create a different space on each floor.
