The building stands on a long, narrow site with a frontage of 5250 mm and a depth of 26000 mm on the north side of the Kyoto Imperial Palace in Kamigyo-ku, Kyoto City. The building consists of two gabled, flat-roofed houses for rent, with tenants on the first floor. The building has a three-dimensional configuration so that the view of the Imperial Palace can be enjoyed from both units.
