A seven-unit apartment building in Ota-ku, Tokyo, with a five-story volume and 12 slabs arranged in a spiral pattern, all units have openings on three sides, including the street side. For a site area that would be too large or too small if the rooms were divided by floor, we were able to create a plan with an appropriate size of about 32m2 per unit.
