The proposal for the new Taishi Town Hall was selected through a proposal process. In addition to the functions of the town hall, the proposal called for a facility open to the community with a community exchange center and an exchange plaza. The functions of the facility are divided into three zones (office zone, community exchange zone, and assembly zone), and each zone is arranged to surround the central exchange plaza.
