An integrated elementary and junior high school in Takamatsu City, Kagawa Prefecture, Japan. 3 elementary schools and 2 junior high schools were integrated to form a school with 1000 students. The step plaza in the intersecting stairwells is a traffic route for all students and teachers. The plaza is used as a route from the regular classrooms to the elevators, and to the special classrooms and the gymnasium during the way to and from school, creating interaction with other grades.
