A junior high school with 640 students in six classes and three grades. Since the Chuetsu Earthquake, Nagaoka City has been working to create a school with a shelter function. This is the second school to be rebuilt following the Nagaoka Higashi Junior High School (this 0903, Watabe Kazuo, Kimura Hiroyuki / Yuyu Kenchiku Keikaku, Chou Kensetsu Keikaku Office joint venture).
