A special nursing home for the elderly in Mogami-cho, Yamagata Prefecture. It is located in the neighborhood of Wellness Plaza, which consists of a town hospital and an insurance facility for the elderly, and is planned as a base for health and welfare in the whole area. Local cedar is used for the structure, interior and exterior. A biomass boiler using the town's timber resources is used for air conditioning and hot water supply. The roof is sloped so that the wind blows away the snow because the area has strong winds and heavy snowfall.
